Senior Director of Product Design & Animation (April 2022 - Present)
During my twelve years at The Meet Group, I have been involved in almost every aspect of our products in some capacity. When I first joined, the design team was a small in-house production team. Since then, I have built the design team into a full-service in-house design studio that provides solutions for print, marketing, product design, animation, and more.
Currently, I lead the Product Design and Animation teams, which I have developed over the past six years. I practice a form of participative and servant leadership that emphasizes trust and positions team members for success. I encourage strong communication and empathy within our agile cross-functional teams. It brings me great joy to see teams succeed, grow, and advance in their careers. Nothing makes me prouder than seeing those successes.
Of all the products I have worked on in the past twelve years, I am most proud of our LIVE streaming service. This service is now syndicated across our owned and operated apps, as well as key third-party partners, and has over 28 million monthly users worldwide. The community we have developed holds a very special place in my heart.

Adjunct Professor (July 2016 - Jan 2022)
As a teacher of graduate and undergraduate classes in user interface design, my goal is to mentor the next generation of designers in mobile and responsive design using the latest tools. Students learn how to create personas, wireframes, prototypes, user tests, and mockups for pixel-almost-perfect applications. Additionally, I emphasize presentation skills and preparing designs for handoff to developers. During my tenure, I also developed a Mobile UI Design class for both graduate and undergraduate levels.
